About Me
My name is Isabella and I am a young artist whose main medium is pastels.
My ready-made grandmother, Judith, discovered my skill in art and introduced me to pastel painting. She encouraged me to join Ricki Schembri’s (a well-known local artist) pastel class at the Hamilton Gallery and the rest is history!
I was fortunate to have my very first painting win the Young Artist award at the Coleraine Art & Photography Show in 2022. It was a huge surprise as I had no expectations when entering the competition.
Outside of art, I enjoy reading, watching TV, playing video games and listening to music. I am passionate about all aspects of the arts, especially music as I am a contemporary singer.
I reside in Hamilton with my parents and our three beautiful dogs.
My Art Journey Begins...
This photo was taken near the end of 2022 with me at the front and my ready-made grandparents, Judith and Trevor, beside me. We were at one of Ricki Schembri’s pastel art classes, where my pastel art journey began! A lot of my very first paintings were created there.
